This is part of life.  A thing everyone faces as a possibility regardless of size, age, gender...regardless of anything really.  As a slice of time people in developed countries face far less probability of anything happening than almost any other time in history.  Life is a game of chance.  I just drove in a windstorm on country roads.  Branches fall.  Sometimes atop fast moving cars and people in them are killed.
